Presentation
The Patina PS-7 SGR R Sherwood Green guitar is one that makes you want to play it the moment you plug it in. Its HSS configuration allows you to switch from a funk track to a rock riff or a more powerful solo without needing a second guitar. The paulownia body remains lightweight, which is a real bonus during long rehearsals or gigs. The nitro relic finish and forest green colour give it the charm of an instrument that already has a history.
The roasted maple neck with a satin finish glides easily under your hand. Its Modern C profile is equally suited to playing open chords and faster runs. The rosewood fingerboard features 22 rounded-edge stainless steel jumbo frets, which feel comfortable when bending strings. The luminescent side markers remain visible when the lighting dims.
The hand-wound Alnico V pickups deliver a clear and precise sound in single-coil mode. The bridge humbucker adds extra power when you switch to overdrive or distortion. With the volume and two tone controls, you can easily tailor the guitar’s character to suit your amp and playing style. This setup allows you to cover a wide range of styles without spending ages searching for the right setting.
The self-locking tuners keep the strings securely in place when you use the vibrato or perform big bends. You’ll spend more time playing than retuning between songs. D’Addario EXL110 strings in .010-.046 are fitted as standard – a very common gauge that will suit most guitarists. If you’re looking for a guitar that performs equally well at home, in rehearsals or on stage, this model fits the bill perfectly!
