The Q Acoustics 5050 Rosewood floorstanding speaker pair combines C³ Continuous Curved Cone™ drivers with a rigid Point-2-Point™ cabinet to deliver a coherent and dynamic reproduction. The mechanically isolated hermetically sealed tweeter limits internal vibrations, while Helmholtz HPE™ technology reduces standing waves to optimise low-frequency behaviour.

Presentation
The Q Acoustics 5050 Rosewood floorstanding speaker pair takes the acoustic technologies developed by Q Acoustics to deliver balanced reproduction and a stable soundstage in an elegant floorstanding format. Its sleek design highlights the profile of the C³ Continuous Curved Cone™ driver combined with a baffle with a dark acrylic pattern.
The two 150mm drivers have been designed to improve power management and boost low-frequency performance. This architecture promotes a more seamless transition with the 25mm tweeter to achieve a more coherent reproduction of the different parts of the sound spectrum.
Inspired by the Concept series, the tweeter is housed in a hermetically sealed, mechanically isolated compartment to reduce resonances generated by the cabinet's internal pressure.
Internal Point-2-Point™ bracing stiffens the cabinet structure to limit stray vibrations and improve stereo imaging accuracy. Helmholtz HPE™ pressure equalizers also help to reduce standing waves and improve low-frequency control in hi-fi listening.
