Floorstanding Speakers
The Q Acoustics 5050 Light Oak pair of floorstanding speakers combines C³ Continuous Curved Cone™ technology with a reinforced Point-2-Point™ cabinet to ensure smooth reproduction and a stable soundstage. Its hermetically sealed and mechanically isolated tweeter reduces internal resonances, while Helmholtz HPE™ equalizers help to better control low frequencies and standing waves.

The pair of Q Acoustics 5050 Floorstanding Speakers Light Oak takes the acoustic technologies developed by Q Acoustics in a format designed to deliver a balanced and detailed reproduction. Its contemporary design is based on a baffle featuring a dark acrylic pattern that highlights the profile of the C³ Continuous Curved Cone™ driver.
The two 150mm drivers have been developed to improve power handling and low frequency accuracy. This design also promotes a more coherent transition with the 25mm tweeter to achieve a more even reproduction across the sound spectrum.
Derived directly from the Concept series, the tweeter is housed in a hermetically sealed, mechanically isolated compartment to limit vibration and interference from the cabinet's internal pressure.
The cabinet benefits from Point-2-Point™ internal bracing, which stiffens the structure to reduce parasitic vibrations. The Helmholtz HPE™ pressure equalisers help to limit standing waves and optimise the behaviour of low frequencies for controlled hi-fi listening.
