Radial - BassBone V2

The Radial BassBone V2 is a versatile preamp designed for bassists who want to control two instruments or achieve varied tonal adjustments on stage and in the studio.

This compact unit offers a convenient solution for managing multiple basses or tailoring the sound of a single instrument. It includes two input channels, allowing you to switch between two instruments via a footswitch. The BassBone V2 also allows you to transform a passive bass into a modern-sounding instrument thanks to its three-band EQ on channel B, with adjustments for bass, midrange and treble frequencies for maximum sonic flexibility.

Channel A offers a more direct sound, ideal for a classic-sounding bass. Channel B, on the other hand, is designed to sculpt the tone further, with an adjustable high-pass filter that eliminates excessive low frequencies, particularly useful for acoustic basses.

An integrated PZB switch on channel B allows for piezo pickups to be handled, increasing the impedance to provide better frequency response and a richer sound for acoustic basses.

The BassBone V2 also features an effects loop that can be assigned to either or both channels, providing complete flexibility for effects pedal setups.

The Boost function, activated via a dedicated footswitch, provides additional gain for solos, while the XLR direct output allows direct connection to a mixing console or PA system, with ground and phase lift options to avoid ground loops and phase issues.

This unit is powered by a 15V DC adapter and built in a rugged 14-gauge steel chassis to withstand the rigors of the stage. With the BassBone V2, bassists can switch from electric to acoustic bass without compromise, while maintaining quality sound and optimal instrument handling.
