Presentation
The Headload loadbox is decorated with a attenuation circuit - capable of handling up to 130 watts RMS continuous power and 180 watts at peak.
Inserted between the head and the cabinet, it allows the guitar amp to be pushed to its limits while drastically reducing the output level, thereby reducing sound pressure on stage or enable the recording studio at low volume . This also allows the artist to optimize the sound of his guitar amp without dangerously push its hardware.
The resistive design 100% discrete ventilated relies on a series of resistors wound ceramic controlled via a rotary switch positions 6 which determines the reduction of the desired power of 100% to 20%. A 'Trim' compensation manages adjustment below 20%. The output of Headload can be disabled for silent operation on stage, in recording or repeat using the headphone amplifier.
