Preamplifier

Preamp tube lamps to class A (100% discrete circuits) to capture the essence of the voice or instrument, while adding rich harmonics, heat, and some character. The Powertube Radial ... the true character of a tube preamp world class vintage without the noise!

ARTICLE N° 54477
The Powertube Radial is a microphone preamp tube class A (circuit 100% discrete) for capturing the essence of voice or instrument, while adding rich harmonics, heat, and a character.
Designed for Radial Workhorse or other rack API500 format, Powertube has a processor ultra low noise Jensen input.
Associated with the lamp, it provides a perfect frequency response, while producing heat that only the Jensen knows distill any musicality. The signal is then amplified by a 12AX7, handpicked.
Using an innovative technology voltage pumping 'not less than 140 volts pass through the lamp to provide the excitation and the nature of a lamp amplifier vintage high voltage.
This then feeds the output stage symmetrical class-A, thereby generating 60dB gain in comfort, making it ideal for use with most microphones.
