Preamplifier
Module preamp / compressor 500 format that combines meanwhile preamp and fully controllable VCA compressor. A Accustate gain setting is present, and the threshold control, and gain ratio for the compressor with automatic transition between soft and hard knee as the compression increases. A switch slow / fast can adapt the compressor to instruments (percussion and voice, for example), and a polarity switch are included.

Presentation
The precomp is a module size 500 with microphone preamp combined with a compressor that is designed to increase the efficiency of the registration process by simplifying the signal path and optimizing the management of gains.
This module is primarily a high performance preamp, which can provide more than 60dB of gain and manage all types of microphones. Equipped with a gain control 'Accustate sole, the Precomp simultaneously defines the output and maximizes the signal / noise ratio. This is especially important when recording in the digital domain, where the background noise can often be heard during quieter passages. But the precomp is also a VCA compressor with a threshold setting, rate of gain compression and Make-up. The advanced compression algorithm analyzes the audio material and automatically switches from 'soft' to 'hard', if the signal exceeds the threshold. In terms of the attack, a simple switch Slow / Fast allows accommodate the effect, whether for voice or percussion.
