The Roland RD 2000 is an 88-key hammer-action digital stage piano with 128 voices of polyphony for electric pianos, 2 independent sound engines and SuperNATURAL technology. As with most Roland stage keyboards, the RD2000 is also equipped with buttons, potentiometers and other intuitive controls, to transform into a control keyboard to control your favorite software via MIDI/USB. The RD 2000's SuperNATURAL sound engine gives you access to a wide selection of sought-after electric pianos from the '60s, '70s, and '80s. The RD-1000 (RD's first stage piano) and the MKS-20 '80s sound module are included. Vintage effects are also available for processing your EPs, including the ubiquitous BOSS CE-1 Chorus and Roland SDD-320 Dimension D.
Designed for professional keyboard players, the RD2000's 88 keys feature PHA-50 progressive hammer action to deliver realistic grand piano feel and response under your fingers.
In addition to the realistic piano sounds contained in its internal memory, the Roland RD-2000 includes over 1,100 additional sounds to cover every style of music with a single keyboard. It contains highly expressive virtual organs, modern and vintage synths, clavinets, orchestral strings, brass, and many other types of sounds in a variety of musical styles.
Want more? Then go ahead, the RD 2000 can also play virtual instruments stored on your computer, using its built-in USB/MIDI audio interface. You can layer different sounds via 8 assignable zones, and route audio from virtual synths via the keyboard to create a powerful hybrid system. The interface supports 24-bit audio at frequencies up to 192 kHz, allowing you to access your sounds in the highest quality!
