The Roland RD-88 EX is an 88-key stage piano designed to deliver a professional playing experience and expanded sounds. It stands out for its PHA-4 mechanics with escapement and ivory touch, as well as its ZEN-Core and SuperNATURAL sound generators. This model also includes the SuperNATURAL Acoustic Piano 3 expansion and offers a USB audio/MIDI interface, a built-in stereo speaker system, and a compact design for optimal portability. Thanks to its PHA-4 keyboard with escapement and ivory touch, it offers an authentic playing feeling and precise tactile response, comparable to that of a grand piano.
The ZEN-Core and SuperNATURAL sound generators provide a wide sound palette including acoustic and electric pianos, as well as more than 3,000 organ, synth, string, brass and other sounds.
The SuperNATURAL Acoustic Piano 3 Expansion included with the RD-88 EX adds 15 distinctive tones and 20 scenes, delivering unrivaled sonic richness for any playing situation, from group performances to solo sonic explorations.
This stage piano also stands out with its built-in stereo speaker system that fills the room with rich sound, eliminating the need for external speakers for home preparation sessions or rehearsals.
In addition to its sound qualities, the RD-88 EX includes a USB audio/MIDI interface, making it easier to connect with music production software and virtual instruments. The intuitive control panel layout allows you to quickly recall sound categories, save scene configurations, and easily control volume levels and other parameters.
