Presentation
The Sabian A1706 crash cymbal is thin and opens quickly, giving you a dark, characterful accent as soon as you play it. Its high-density hammering, done entirely by hand, creates a complex texture reminiscent of old Turkish cymbals.
The B20 alloy adds depth and a real richness of overtones. You can use it in a wide variety of styles, as its dark colour is easy to integrate into a mix. The response is fast, but the crash retains a good hold that helps fill the space without being intrusive.
You'll feel a nice suppleness under the stick thanks to its thin thickness. The volume is easy to manage, making it suitable for both small stages and more open shows.
