Sadowsky's MetroLine Hybrid PJ Vintage Olympic White bass combines a red alder body with a maple neck and morado fingerboard for a smooth, natural feel. Sadowsky's MetroLine Hybrid PJ Vintage Olympic White is an electric bass designed for bassists looking for a versatile, elegant and well-balanced instrument. Its red alder body ensures a rich, well-defined resonance, while the high-gloss polished Olympic White finish gives it a classic look that's equally at home on stage or in the studio.
The screw-on maple neck with Morado fingerboard offers a comfortable grip, with a generous radius for easy positioning along the entire length of the neck. The 21 nickel-silver frets provide good note articulation and a clear response, ideal for slap, fingerstyle or more laid-back grooves.
As for the electronics, this MetroLine is equipped with a classic but effective PJ configuration: a P-Style split-coil pickup on the neck for round basses and a J-Style single-coil hum-canceling pickup on the bridge for precise mids and detailed highs.
The control system includes Volume, Balance, Vintage Tone Control (VTC) with push/pull function, as well as Bass and Treble controls via stacked knobs, offering a wide range of settings without unnecessary complexity. So you can go from a more traditional sound to more modern textures in no time at all.
The Sadowsky bridge with 'Quick Release' system makes string changes easy, and the lightweight tuning machines ensure effective tuning stability. As an accessory, the bass is usually delivered with a Sadowsky Portabag, which is practical for travelling.
