Yamaha - BBNE2 Nathan East Black
With the BBNE2 Nathan East Black, Yamaha has created a 5-string bass designed in close collaboration with the famous bassist. Its sleek black design conceals a solid alder and maple construction, combined with two Alnico V Stack Type pickups and active electronics capable of covering a wide sound spectrum. From well-defined lows to precise highs, every nuance comes through with clarity. Whether in the studio or on stage, this bass is up to the task, thanks to its comfortable playability and reliable response. It reflects both Yamaha's expertise and the demands of a professional, in an instrument designed for musicians looking for performance and versatility.
Presentation
The ebony fingerboard is fitted with 24 medium frets, making it easy to play smoothly across the entire neck. With a pitch of 863.6 mm, it maintains a tight low end, ideal for both deep lines and more dynamic grooves. The electronics include two Yamaha Custom Stack pickups and a full active circuit: 3-band EQ, frequency control and midrange switch for precise sound shaping.
The Yamaha BPZ-7 bridge, Gotoh tuners and gold hardware all contribute to stability and comfort, even during long sessions.
Visually, the gloss black finish and block markings add a real touch of elegance to the package. The BBNE2 Black is aimed at demanding bassists who want a versatile instrument capable of responding instantly to the nuances of playing, both in the studio and on stage.
