The UwMic9 SP-RX9 is a portable two-channel UHF receiver and audio mixer designed to work seamlessly with iPhone and Android smartphones, as well as cameras and other devices. It allows you to use two separate wireless transmitters (sold separately) at the same time and is supplied with multiple output cables to fit most smartphones and cameras. A smartphone holder is integrated and a removable handle is provided to stabilise your mobile videos. The SP-RX9 is perfect for capturing interviews, film dialogue, field recordings, TV broadcasts, news gathering, vlogging, YouTube videos and more.

As well as being a wireless receiver, the SP-RX9 can also be used as an audio mixer. You can plug two microphones directly into it and connect to your smartphone or camera of choice, and the SP-RX9 will act as a microphone adaptor. It has two 3.5 mm Mini Jack inputs and one mini-XLR input.
A mini-XLR to XLR cable is included, allowing you to connect professional microphones directly to the SP-RX9. It can provide +48 volts of phantom power, so you can use almost any type of microphone, such as a professional shotgun mic.
The SP-RX9 is powered by an internal lithium-ion battery, which can easily be charged via its USB-C port with the included USB-A cable. The USB-C port is also compatible with external battery power packs, so you can keep it powered up in the field.
The included handle screws into a 1/4 thread at the base of the SP-RX9, and you can use this mounting point to attach the SP-RX9 to a DSLR or camera. The settings on the SP-RX9 allow you to set it to camera mode, which adjusts the output to work perfectly with cameras.
The SP-RX9 is remarkably easy to use. Configured to work straight out of the box. Just switch on the power and go. It uses the UHF (ultra high frequency) spectrum, which helps you avoid interference, and its 514-596 MHz range is unaffected by the FCC ban on 600 MHz frequencies. A built-in auto-scan function locates the best available channel for you, and infrared synchronisation makes the process easy.
The easy-to-read backlit LCD screen lets you make quick adjustments on intuitive menus in the brightest or darkest environments.
The SP-RX9 also features a headphone output, allowing real-time audio monitoring.
