Its two very good EMG 40TW pickups give it a thick sound when you want it, but they also have the advantage of being split coils so you can switch instantly to a clear sound thanks to the easy-access push/pull controls on the knobs. The Crimson Red Burst Satin (CRBS) finish puts the finishing touches to a bass packed with style and punch.

Extreme refers to the most intense. With the Hellraiser Extreme series, Schecter raises the intensity of its guitars both visually and audibly. Adorned with magnificent corrugated tops and available with ebony or maple fingerboards, their meticulous lutherie allows guitarists to appreciate the comfort of the conductive neck and its inimitable access to the treble. A fully-fledged member of the Hellraiser family, they are equipped with EMG's signature active pickups, controlled by a 3-band pre-amp offering great versatility, for a powerful, precise, incisive sound that can be adapted to all tones with great customisation of your sound. Thanks to push/pull controls on the tone and volume knobs, you can split your humbuckers to choose either a sound similar to that of single pickups, or to enjoy the brutal sound your humbuckers can deliver when driven to full power.
