Signature Guitar
The Corsair 12 is Wayne Hussey's (The Mission) and Schecter's signature 12-string electric guitar with a semi-hollow maple body. It is equipped with two Schecter Diamond Tubebucker pickups whose tones can be drastically altered thanks to push-pull tone controls, allowing coil-splitting from a thick humbucker sound to a single-coil jangle sound. The high-end aesthetic is assured by a glossy Ivory finish with multiple gold purflings, gold hardware and Mother of Pearl 'Mission UK Design' fingerboard inlays on an ebony fingerboard.

Presentation
On stage or in the studio, Schecter's Wayne Hussey Corsair-12 Ivory tells a dense sonic story. From the very first touch, the three-piece maple neck with its slim C-profile blends seamlessly into the maple body. The ebony fingerboard houses 22 Jumbo frets on a 14" radius, just enough to offer ease without excess.
The 12 strings, stretched over a Diamond Adjustable-12 bridge, vibrate in a balanced way between the low and high strings. The two Schecter Diamond Tubebucker pickups, in neck and bridge position, transpose this tonal range with clarity, to reproduce both the harmonic leaves and the individual grain of each string.
In push-pull mode on the tone controls, windings can be deactivated for a brighter or more direct sound, depending on the context. The semi-hollow architecture of the body, with a central block, provides natural acoustic resonance while maintaining sustain even at high gain.
This instrumentation, combined with the Mission UK Design fretboard markers and chrome hardware, is more than just a visual signature: it promises great versatility, in both clean and saturated tones, for the guitarist who wants his 12-string to be able to do it all, without compromise.
