Fitted with rails and a triple ceramic magnet, it offers a high level of gain, generous sustain and perfect balance between the strings. Even in very low tunings, it retains precision, clean attack and definition under high saturation.

The Seymour Duncan BW-7-R-N Black Winter Rails 7-string is a passive neck pickup developed for guitarists looking for power and precision. Designed for modern and extreme metal, it takes the aggressive character of the original Black Winter even further.
Its rail design ensures that the magnetic field is evenly distributed across all seven strings. The result is constant balance, even with very high distortion. The triple ceramic magnet base enhances attack and definition. Bass is tighter and more controlled, giving a feeling of concentrated power. The midrange remains present to break through the mix. The highs retain their clarity without becoming aggressive.
With a 15.70 kΩ resistor, it delivers a high output level suitable for intense saturation. Fast leads gain in sustain and fluidity. Palm mute riffs remain clean and punchy. Even in very low drop tunings, every note remains legible.
The pickup has four leads for versatile wiring options. Suitable for 7-string guitars with fixed bridge or standard vibrato. Handcrafted in Santa Barbara, it embodies Seymour Duncan craftsmanship dedicated to the darkest, most massive sounds.
