Launched in 1980, the SH 6 Distortion was the first high-performance Seymour Duncan humbucker.

Its tight, aggressive lows and dazzling highs make it the pickup of choice for punchy crunch rhythms and blazing leads, which is why it's found on the guitars of rock and metal players the world over.

Handcrafted in the Seymour Duncan factory in Santa Barbara, California, the Distortion uses a large ceramic magnet, a nickel silver bottom plate, 4 conductors for numerous wiring options and is wax-coated to prevent pickup problems.
