Seymour Duncan - TF-B-N Dave Mustaine Thrash Factor Bridge Black

Seymour Duncan and Dave worked closely together to recreate the tone and feel of his favourite JB, ultimately modifying the winding process to achieve the sound he was looking for, compared to the standard JB model, so the Thrash Factor's bass is tighter, the mids are slightly deeper and the highs are more aggressive.

In 1990, Megadeth released their historic fourth album, "Rust In Peace".
Widely regarded as one of the most iconic and influential metal albums of all time, its frantic rhythms, complex arrangements, shifting time signatures and blazing lead lines demonstrated the band's mastery of their craft.

During the recording of the album, Dave relied heavily on one guitar in particular, which was set up with a Seymour Duncan JB on the bridge and a 59 model on the neck.
According to Dave, this JB had a sound that was different from a standard JB and had become part of his signature sound.
