The Wavelength Duo uses a piezoelectric copolymer saddle transducer coupled to a low-noise, high-impedance 18-volt preamp with twice the dynamic range of standard 9-volt systems.
Two AA batteries power the 18-volt preamp. With 18 volts, your signal has more dynamic range, so you can be sure of perfect, distortion-free sound, whatever you're playing.
With the addition of the miniature condenser microphone, you can amplify your acoustic guitar with surprising clarity and precision.
The microphone is housed in a special viscoelastic polymer shock mount for optimum isolation.
Two discreet knobs adjust the overall volume and the pick-up volume.
The installation instructions include a stereo wiring option that allows you to separate the mic and piezo transducer for use with a two-channel preamp.
