In addition, its AES-256-bit encryption ensures complete protection of audio transmissions, preventing any unwanted interference.

It operates on two AA batteries for up to 9 hours of use, but can also be powered by the Shure SB900B lithium-ion battery (optional), which provides up to 10 hours of battery life and provides an accurate indication of the remaining operating time. Its external charging contacts allow for rapid recharging on the SBC200 station.
