The Shure Beta 58A capsule has a specific frequency response from 50Hz to 16kHz, which accentuates the warmth and clarity of voices.

Its super-cardioid polar pattern offers high gain before feedback, better rejection of other sound sources, a controlled proximity effect and excellent midrange reproduction.
