T he KSM8 capsule is the first in the world to feature a dual diaphragm.
This Dualdyne technology uses an active and a passive diaphragm.
The result is a microphone with virtually no proximity effect and extremely homogeneous directivity for a very smooth off-axis response.
It features a Neodymium magnet for high output, a DSS diaphragm oscillation stabilisation system and a carbon-enriched hardened steel grille for long life.
