It is based on a 24-bit / 48 kHz audio transmission offering clear, precise and totally linear reproduction from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, with the Beta 87A electret capsule providing its recognisable signature: great treble finesse, exemplary proximity control and a supercardioid directional pattern that effectively isolates the voice in complex stage environments. This combination guarantees impeccable intelligibility, even in live applications where management of ambient noise and feedback is paramount.

The transmitter features Gain Ranging, an automatic system that adapts the dynamic range to variations in input level, eliminating the need for manual gain management. For confidentiality, AES-256 encryption ensures totally secure transmission. The SB900 or SB900C lithium-ion battery provides autonomy of over nine hours, with a precise display in hours and minutes. The transmitter also features external charging contacts for direct recharging via the SBC200 or SBC220 stations.
