The Shure ULXD2 N8SB G56 combines the ULX-D digital architecture with the Nexadyne 8/SB supercardioid capsule, incorporating Revonic transducer technology. This capsule offers powerful, targeted voice reproduction, effectively controlling the sound environment thanks to a tighter directivity than the cardioid version. It isolates the voice even in the densest stage situations, while retaining a natural sound reproduction and a clearly defined presence.

The ULX-D system is based on 24-bit / 48 kHz digital audio transmission, an extended dynamic range and a wide frequency response from 30 Hz to 20 kHz (variable depending on the capsule). The Gain Ranging function automatically adjusts the dynamic range according to the source, eliminating the need to change the transmitter gain. For environments requiring secure transmission, AES-256 encryption ensures total confidentiality of the audio signal.

Two transmission modes are available: standard mode, designed to maximise RF coverage and stability, and high-density mode, enabling a much higher number of simultaneous channels to be used while maintaining impeccable audio quality. When used with the SB900 or SB900C rechargeable battery, the transmitter can operate for more than 12 hours while providing an accurate measure of remaining battery life. External charging contacts enable rack charging via the SBC200 or SBC220 solutions.

Mute mode converts the on/off switch into a silent audio mute, keeping the HF link active without the risk of unwanted noise. The backlit LCD screen offers intuitive navigation, and frequency and power locks secure settings during performance. The metal chassis adds to the unit's durability, ensuring reliable operation during demanding tours, installations or events.
