Like the original version, the Imperial MKII retains the high-impedance JFET preamp, adding detail and definition to the bass. A new Contour control replaces the Mids selector for changing the frequency of the high-pass filter.

JEN Elettronica was a manufacturer who made pedals for, among others, Vox, Dallas Arbiter, Sound City ... as well as their own brand.
The Jumbo Fuzz was their interpretation of the Big Muff, replacing the knobs with faders and adding a germanium noise gate.
In terms of sound, the Jumbo Fuzz was like a Ram's Head, not too deep, with plenty of gain. The Imperial MKII is largely inspired by it.

The germanium transistors of the Jumbo Fuzz have been replaced by silicon and an improved envelope generator to ensure your sound is consistent and responsive.
Not only does its noise gate provide virtually no noise, it also gives a unique and precise attack with no loss of sustain, even with a lot of fuzz.
