Akai - Pack MPC Sample + Cover
This set combines the Akai MPC Sample standalone sampler with its Decksaver case for use in the studio and on the go. The MPC Sample features 16 RGB pads with poly-aftertouch, an MPC sequencer with real-time swing, a built-in effects engine, and cutting and resampling functions to build your beats without a computer. The smoked polycarbonate cover protects the control surface and controls when the unit is not in use.
Presentation
The built-in MPC sequencer handles swing in real time and allows you to capture ideas using the Sequence Recall function. Sample Chop mode speeds up sample cutting, whilst time-stretch, RePitch and internal resampling expand your production possibilities. The 60 built-in effects and 4 effects processors allow you to shape the sound directly within the unit without needing a computer.
The Decksaver cover for the MPC Sample is moulded from tinted polycarbonate to fit the unit’s dimensions precisely. It covers the control panel to minimise exposure to dust, knocks and accidental operation when the sampler is placed on a desk or stored within a setup. The connectors remain accessible, so there’s no need to reconfigure the setup between uses. Thanks to its compact size and light weight, the unit is easy to integrate into a mobile setup or a compact studio!
