Presentation
Source Audio's Aftershock Bass Distortion is a sonic earthquake for pro bassists looking for powerful, flexible distortion. Thanks to its three distortion motors (Tube, Heavy, Fuzz), it covers the whole spectrum, from smooth vintage overdrive to saturated germanium fuzz. You can also combine these engines via the Neuro Mobile app, stacking them in series, parallel or split stereo, to create ultra-customised textures.
Drive, Clean, Tone and Level settings let you sculpt your distortion while maintaining the clean, solid bottom end that's essential for a bass. With 128 presets via MIDI or the Neuro editor, you can save your favourite sounds, recall them instantly and share them.
The pedal features stereo I/O, versatile routing (split, external loop) and switchable bypass between buffer and true bypass, ensuring optimum signal integrity. Finally, the 'Control In' input accepts expression pedals or audio source controllers, offering real-time control of parameters.
Choosing the Aftershock means choosing a robust, modular and ultra-reactive tool, capable of adapting to all styles, from brutal rock to experimental, while remaining perfectly controllable.
