John Petrucci is a guitarist, composer and founder of the band Dream Theater, born on 12 July 1967 in Kings Park, New York. Renowned for his virtuosity and technique, he has influenced many guitarists in progressive metal and rock. Alongside Dream Theater, he has developed a solo career and participated in projects such as Liquid Tension Experiment, with complex riffs, melodic solos and a precise sense of composition.
