Presentation
The Sterling by Music Man Luke LK100 Hazel Burst is like Steve Lukather himself handing you the keys to his sonic universe. This signature guitar is a real gem for any musician looking to juggle different styles without having to change instruments every five minutes. With its nyatoh body and flamed maple top, it combines resonance and comfort. Add to that its beautiful Hazel Burst color with a glossy varnish finish, and you have a look that catches the eye as much as the ear. It's the ideal ally for those who like to shine as much in the studio as under the spotlight.
In terms of playability, the LK100 delivers. The roasted maple neck in a "V" shape is designed to be comfortable while remaining precise enough for your wild solos or your well-felt rhythms. And don't worry, the self-locking tuners are there to prevent your tuning from going on vacation in the middle of a song. The vintage tremolo bridge, meanwhile, adds just the right amount of flexibility for your vibrato effects without ever sacrificing stability.
Sound-wise, the LK100 Hazel Burst packs a punch. Two Sterling by Music Man humbucker pickups and a 5-way switch, all with an integrated 12 dB active boost, give you a nice range of tones for any style, from blues to metal. With this guitar, you can go from warm rhythms to sharp leads without batting an eyelid. In short, with the Luke LK100, you have an instrument that delivers on both sound and comfort, while having that little rock star side that doesn't hurt!

Steve Lukather is an American guitarist, singer and songwriter, best known for his incredible versatility and his work as a member of the legendary rock band TOTO. Born in 1957 in Los Angeles, Lukather began his professional career at a young age, quickly becoming one of the most sought-after musicians on the studio scene in the 1970s. His ability to navigate different genres, from rock to jazz, pop and R&B, allowed him to participate in hundreds of recording sessions for musical greats such as Michael Jackson, Elton John and Paul McCartney.
In 1977, Steve Lukather co-founded the band TOTO with several friends and session musicians, including brothers Jeff and Steve Porcaro. TOTO quickly became an iconic band thanks to its ability to fuse various influences, including rock, funk, jazz and progressive music. The band achieved international success with their self-titled debut album, but their peak was with 1982's TOTO IV. The album, which featured the classics "Africa" and "Rosanna," garnered multiple Grammy Awards, including Best Album and Song of the Year for "Rosanna."
Throughout his career with TOTO, Lukather distinguished himself with his virtuoso guitar playing, characterized by melodic and technical solos, and his mastery of the studio. Outside of TOTO, he pursued a prolific solo career, releasing several albums that allowed him to explore a variety of styles and collaborate with renowned artists. His guitar playing has also been featured on some of the greatest albums in pop and rock history, including Michael Jackson's "Thriller."
Despite the many lineup changes over the decades, Steve Lukather remained a key member of TOTO, contributing to its musical identity and success. Today, TOTO continues to tour and produce music, adapting to changing musical trends while maintaining a loyal fanbase.
