Studiologic - Pack SL88 GT mk2 + Housse

The Studiologic SL88 GT mk2 features a digital processor capable of storing one hundred user programmes organised into twenty-four programme groups, which can be viewed at a glance on the 2.8-inch colour LCD screen. MIDI 2.0 compatibility and four programmable MIDI zones allow the keyboard to be assigned to multiple sounds; the USB-C connection also links it to the Numa Player to control an entire library of sounds.

Under your fingers, the TP/400 WOOD action with graduated hammer mechanics recreates the texture of solid wood and the progressive weight of an original key, heavier in the lower register and lighter in the higher register. The triple-sensor system reads touch velocity with rare precision, whilst the built-in aftertouch allows you to modulate a sound by applying pressure after the initial strike, without releasing the key.

Customisable keyboard sensitivity, key sensitivity adjustment and the adjustable balance between black and white keys allow every pianist to calibrate their touch just as they would on their own acoustic instrument.

In the studio, the two encoders and four assignable zones control effects and volumes without taking your eyes off the keyboard, supported by a bidirectional spring-loaded stick and a multi-directional stick for expressive glides. The SL Link protocol synchronises the keyboard with Logic Pro, Cubase, Ableton Live and any Mackie Control-compatible application, whilst the DAW controls for play, record, loop and stop allow you to manage your session directly from the keyboard.

On the rear panel, the 6.3 mm jack and TRS headphone outputs, the pedal switch, switch/continue and universal inputs, and the MIDI In/Out ports round off a unit supplied with its mains adaptor, USB-C cable and USB-A adaptors.

The Studiologic Soft Case C, made from polyester, features 20 millimetres of foam padding around the keyboard and can be carried using its three handles or on its wheels. Two internal straps secure the keyboard in place, whilst a large external pocket keeps the pedal and cables within easy reach.
