The Osmose 49 CE + Soliste + Soft Case brings together three complementary elements centred on musical expression: the Osmose 49 CE master keyboard, the Soliste collection of virtual instruments, and a carrying case designed for the instrument.
The Osmose 49 CE forms the heart of the bundle. Its 49 full-size keys utilise three-dimensional control technology, allowing each note to be played with great precision. Key pressure, lateral movements, vibrato, pitch bend, strumming and even expressive release can be transmitted individually, offering an approach particularly well-suited to virtual instruments designed for MPE.
With Soliste, this expressiveness finds direct application in four physically modelled solo string instruments: the VLN 356 (violin), VLA 419 (viola), CLO 759 (cello) and DBS 1130 (double bass). Each instrument features detailed controls for dynamics, vibrato, portamento and various bowing behaviours.
The collection offers several playing styles with Classic Mode, Virtuoso Mode and Expressive Bow Mode, as well as a range of articulations accessible in real time, such as pizzicato, sul ponticello, Bartók, staccato, tremolo, sustain and legato. The set is particularly well-suited for use with an MPE controller such as the Osmose, to maintain independent expression on each note.
To carry the keyboard whilst on the move, the bundle also includes the Osmose 49 Soft Case. Its 1000D Cordura construction and internal padding provide suitable protection for transport, whilst its various compartments allow you to carry a laptop up to 16 inches, sheet music and various accessories.
The case can be carried by hand, over the shoulder or as a rucksack. A customised rain cover is also provided to offer extra protection when travelling outdoors.
