Expressive E - Osmose 49 CE + Soft Case

The Osmose 49 CE + Soft Case combines Expressive E’s expressive master keyboard with a carrying case specially designed for it, all in one package. The bundle is aimed at musicians who want a complete instrument for the studio, composition or live performance, whilst being able to transport it easily alongside their other kit.

At the heart of the pack is the Osmose 49 CE, a USB MPE MIDI master keyboard featuring 49 full-size keys capable of transmitting different gestural information for each note. Pressure, lateral movements, vibrato, pitch bend and expressive release can thus be used to shape sounds independently.

The Osmose functions equally well as an MPE controller, a traditional MIDI keyboard and a DAW controller. Its MPE arpeggiator, Pressure Glide function, eight macros per preset and various controls allow musical parameters to be adjusted directly from the instrument. The Ctrl-e ecosystem, with over 900 expressive presets, complements this approach with a sound library designed to make the most of the keyboard’s capabilities.

The bundle also includes the Osmose 49 Soft Case, designed specifically to fit the keyboard’s dimensions. Its 1000D Cordura construction, combined with a neoprene lining and internal padding, offers protection suitable for everyday travel whilst remaining relatively lightweight.

The case is not limited to transporting the keyboard. It features several dedicated compartments for accessories and items needed for a session, including a compartment that can hold a laptop up to 16 inches, a space for sheet music or documents, and additional storage for accessories. A large rear pocket and a zipped front pocket complete the design.

When travelling, the Soft Case can be carried in several ways: by hand using the top handle, over the shoulder or as a rucksack. A customised rain cover is also provided to offer extra protection when travelling outdoors.
