Presentation
The Fuzzy Brit is an electric guitar effects pedal that fuses the attributes of Marshall and Fuzz Face pedals.
With the Character setting, this model allows you to explore a variety of playing styles. Setting it below 12 o'clock gives you a warm tone. You'll be reminded of the Bluesbreaker/JTM45 amps, with an inimitable bite. Around 12 o'clock, the tone is closer to that of the Plexi. Above 12 o'clock, you get the presence boost typical of the 70s. At full power, you reach the famous level 11 for maximum effect.
The fuzz section allows for fine adjustments with two main controls. The Fuzz setting changes the total amount of fuzz. The Tone is a musical low-pass filter that reduces the high frequencies while preserving the mids. It thus avoids a muddy sound.
Versatile, the Fuzzy Brit can be used as a pedal with an amp, as a preamp for a power amp, directly into a mixer or a PA system. It can even be used for direct recording on a computer.
With its diverse connections, this unit meets all your needs: a 1/4-inch instrument input at 1MOhm, an unbalanced low Z 1/4-inch output, and a balanced low Z XLR output. Its robust construction includes a durable metal housing, metal switches and solid jacks. All this is completed by silent switches. It is powered by a universal 9V DC power supply (Model #DC9, included).
