Presentation
The Lost New York Studios is an extension of 2.0 Toontrack Superior. Volume 2 of NY Studio Legacy Series contains unique records of the New York studios legendary Hit Factory NY and Allaire Studios. Recordings made at Studio Hit Factory NY were the starting point for the development of Superior Drummer 2.0, and the decision to extend these records to Allaire Studios made it possible to group the sounds in the best New York studios.

Unfortunately for the music industry, both studios are now closed, hence the name "The Lost New York Studios". Toontrak and engineers were the last lucky to have had the opportunity to register in those grand studios, working with the best musicians and sound engineers, like Pat Thrall (Glenn Hughes, Black Crowes, Beyoncé etc), producer Neil Dorfsman (Kiss, Bruce Springsteen, Dire Straits and Sting) and drummer Nir Z (Genesis, John Mayer, Joss Stone and Chris Cornell).
For samples from the studio Allaire, in addition to the sound from the console with microphones near, the following terminals are available: AmbFar, AmbMid, AmbNear, AmbMono, Oh-Mono, AmbBullet, SnareRim and SansAmp.
