Presentation
Designed for sound design in post-production, Unlock – a UVI virtual instrument (downloadable licence) – brings together an extensive library dedicated to door sounds and their associated details. It enables you to create opening, closing and knocking sounds for film, games and other productions, featuring 123 doors, 174 underlays and 29,864 samples.
The library covers interior and exterior doors, both residential and commercial, as well as car doors, lift doors, shower doors, cupboard doors and appliance doors. Door and handle sounds are recorded separately, making it easy to combine them.
Three customisable underlays allow you to add hinges, rollers, locks, glass or other elements. Unlock also offers four microphone options, settings for level, pitch, attack, decay and randomness, as well as convolution reverb with 46 impulse responses. Its built-in effects, including a three-band equaliser and compressor, help to fine-tune each creation and integrate it into its soundscape.
