Union Audio's orbit.6 is a rotary mixer designed for those seeking a deeply analogue approach to creating and mixing music. Its entirely discrete structure, followed by a dedicated ECC82 lamp for each channel, gives the signal a warm, lively texture reminiscent of the best studio consoles, while retaining the precision needed for a modern DJ set.

This architecture, rarely found in a rotary table, offers significant dynamics, extremely low noise and processing finesse that enhances hi-fi systems as well as the most ambitious club installations.

Each channel benefits from a progressive high-pass filter, an aux-send and a heavily damped rotary fader, developed specifically for this model. This dense, even, controlled feel under the fingers is an integral part of the ORBIT.6's identity. The phono and line inputs are generously distributed to allow multiple configurations, from a vinyl-centred set to a hybrid mix incorporating several autonomous sources.

The Master section is based on a fluid and precise 3-band isolator, calibrated to provide a clean cut without excessive coloration. The Booth has its own HF/LF filter, while the Direct Outs per channel facilitate multitrack recording or integration into more complex systems. The whole package is built around a robust 19" chassis, a 6mm aluminium front panel and professional quality connectors.

The external Hybrid Linear PSU further enhances operating stability, while offering built-in safeguards. Designed by Andy Rigby-Jones and assembled in the UK, the ORBIT.6 is equally at home in an audiophile environment or in a club looking for an elegant, controlled musical performance.
