With its sounds inspired by Eurorack systems, the Modular Waves downloadable licence (virtual instrument) from UVI offers 100 presets designed around modular synthesis. Expressive pads, leads, basses, plucks, arpeggios and evolving sequences make up a collection focused on melodic and harmonic sounds.
Each preset is ready to use in Falcon, whilst leaving plenty of scope for customisation thanks to the software’s synthesis, modulation and effects functions. Intuitive macros make it easy to start playing straight away, whilst sounds can be previewed, edited, layered or performed.
Falcon’s semi-modular architecture also allows you to explore the available oscillators, effects, modulators and scripts. MIDI, OSC, host automation and Lua controls offer a variety of ways to manipulate the sounds.
Modular Waves is therefore a collection designed for electronic producers and sound designers wishing to incorporate melodic and harmonic modular textures into their creations.
