In 1967, VOX revolutionised the world of guitar with the invention of the Wah-Wah pedal. Inspired by a VOX amp of the time, this unique pedal quickly found its place on the pedalboards of the greatest guitarists, from Jimi Hendrix to Eric Clapton.
50 years on, VOX's unique expertise has produced an exact replica of this legendary pedal: the V846 Vintage. Made with custom components, this pedal faithfully reproduces the sound and behaviour of the original wah-wah.
To reproduce the authentic sound of vintage wah-wah, VOX has used custom-made components identical to those used in the 60s. Inductors, transistors, potentiometers, resistors, capacitors and wiring: everything has been meticulously studied to guarantee absolute fidelity.
