In a fixed installation, a loudspeaker must offer much more than simply power reserves. It must maintain consistent sound reproduction over time, withstand environmental stresses and blend seamlessly into the architecture of the venue.

The Work Athos 10R Black meets these requirements precisely, thanks to a design tailored for professional applications, whether in open spaces, covered terraces, places of worship, sports complexes, tourist facilities or public buildings.

This version features a 10-inch woofer with a 2.5-inch voice coil, paired with a 1-inch compression driver fitted with a polymer diaphragm.

The unit delivers 200 W RMS and 400 W peak power into 8 ohms, whilst also supporting use on 100 V or 70 V distribution networks thanks to its built-in transformer. This versatility simplifies system design, whether for a large-scale centralised system or a low-impedance distribution system.

The enclosure is made from a polymer specially developed to withstand external elements such as rain, significant temperature fluctuations and airborne particles.

Unlike earlier generations made of fibreglass, this material offers excellent mechanical strength whilst featuring a textured finish that mimics wood, providing a more elegant visual integration into residential, commercial or institutional environments. Its IP54 rating guarantees effective protection against water splashes and dust.

Sound coverage is provided by an 80° x 80° pattern, suitable for the majority of installations requiring uniform signal distribution. With a sensitivity of 98 dB and a maximum SPL of 127 dB, the Athos 10R Black is capable of comfortably covering large spaces whilst maintaining excellent speech intelligibility and dynamic musical reproduction.
