Work - BLR2 A PLUS MKII

The WORK BLR2 A PLUS MKII is a BlueLine Audio over IP receiver designed for installations requiring a stand-alone broadcast solution with built-in amplification. It receives audio streams transmitted by the BlueLine Digital MKII system’s transmitters and allows a pair of speakers to be driven directly without the need for an external amplifier.

Thanks to its built-in low-impedance amplification, the BLR2 A PLUS MKII delivers up to 2 × 15 W into 4 Ω when powered by an external 24 V DC source. When powered via PoE, it delivers up to 2 × 5 W at 4 Ω, providing a practical solution for installations where the network cabling also supplies power to the system.

The unit supports a stereo audio channel that can be extracted from the BlueLine network and can operate in several playback modes: stereo, Single or Mono. The audio signal is transmitted via Ethernet using BlueLine UDP datagrams, ensuring simple integration into existing network infrastructures.

Like the BLR2 MKII model, this amplified version features two GPI inputs with pull-up resistors and two open-collector GPO outputs. These interfaces allow external controls or auxiliary equipment to be connected to create automation scenarios tailored to the needs of each installation.

The system is configured using the WorkCAD 3 software, and control can be carried out via the OSC protocol. Its compact size, flexible power supply and built-in amplification make the BLR2 A PLUS MKII particularly well-suited to meeting rooms, retail outlets, hotels, public spaces or multi-room installations requiring discreet and efficient audio distribution.
