The WORK WIR 1 is a Wi-Fi audio receiver designed to allow wireless audio streaming to be easily integrated into a professional sound system. Operating as either a Wi-Fi access point or client, it delivers a stereo signal via balanced XLR and 6.35 mm jack outputs.

Presentation
The WORK WIR 1 allows you to add a wireless audio link to a fixed or mobile installation without the need for dedicated network cabling. Operating on the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band, it receives a stereo audio stream from a smartphone, tablet or other compatible device, and then transmits it directly to a mixing desk, amplifier or sound system.
The device offers two operating modes to suit different usage scenarios. In AP (Access Point) mode, it creates its own Wi-Fi network to which compatible devices can connect directly. In STA (Station) mode, it joins an existing Wi-Fi network created by a router, making it easy to integrate into an existing infrastructure.
The WIR 1 features dual professional-grade audio connections comprising male XLR3 outputs and balanced 6.35 mm jack outputs, allowing for easy connection to a wide range of audio equipment. A master level control is accessible on the front panel to adjust the output level according to the installation.
Dedicated indicator lights show operating status, pairing status and signal level, providing quick visual monitoring during operation. Supplied with its own 5 V external power supply, the WORK WIR 1 is a practical solution for streaming music, announcements or any other audio content via a Wi-Fi connection, whether in audiovisual installations, commercial spaces, meeting rooms or public address systems.
