Yamaha - BBP34 Vintage White
Yamaha offers you the BBP34 Vintage White 4-string electric bass, equipped with top-quality components including two custom-made YGD V7 pickups that deliver powerful, articulate tones. Designed in Japan by experts, the body is made from three different woods (alder/maple/solid alder) combined with a mahogany and maple neck. The rosewood fingerboard ensures smooth, comfortable playing even during long concert sessions.
Presentation
The body is made from alder, maple and solid alder for rich resonance and excellent tonal stability, accompanied by a 5-ply maple and mahogany neck for a powerful attack, fast response and greater robustness against possible twisting. The fingerboard is rosewood, and the neck has a fluid profile for enhanced ergonomics.
This bass comes 'played', with an open sound and improved playability right from the start (IRA Technology: Initial Response Acceleration), so you can play as soon as you open your instrument. You'll also find that the Yamaha Convertible Vintage Plus Light bridge is adjustable, with the option of passing strings through the body or the bridge, and two types of bridge (smooth or tighter) to shape the sound.
The Alnico V pickups (VSP7n / VSC7b) give you a powerful, organic and well-defined sound. The elegant design, with its Vintage White finish and 4-ply Tortoiseshell pickguard, is equally attractive on stage or in the studio.
