Presentation
A real palette of carefully selected sounds is at your disposal, and with this keyboard the brand offers piano sounds such as the Yamaha U1 upright piano, as well as electric pianos, synthesizers and keyboards. Seamless Sound Switching (SS) technology ensures a smooth transition between sounds. This allows you to change sounds while letting the previous one fade away smoothly.
When it comes to control, Yamaha offers an easy-to-use keyboard, with navigation and access to the various functions rethought and refocused on the user experience. No more navigating through menus and sub-menus, each function on the piano's top panel corresponds to a single function. As a result, you'll be able to play more comfortably, and your adjustments will be made quickly, fluidly and intuitively.
The CP73 has inputs and outputs so you can use it on the move. Balanced XLR outputs let you connect directly to your mixing console or stagebox. Connect your smartphone or an additional keyboard via its stereo input with two 6.35 mm jack sockets. For use on stage, there's nothing better than a USB Audio/Midi connector, so you can connect your laptop quickly and easily.
