Yamaha - CP88

The Yamaha CP88 is an 88-key digital stage piano designed to provide pianists with a realistic playing experience and exceptional sound performance.

Featuring a Natural Wood Graded Hammer action keyboard with synthetic ivory and ebony keys and three sensors, this piano delivers authentic tactile response and a grand-like feel.

Its compact, robust aluminium design makes it ideal for touring and live performances.

This stage piano features intuitive user navigation, with each function having its own button, eliminating the need to navigate complex menus.

The 4-zone master keyboard allows maximum flexibility in managing sounds and effects. Thanks to Seamless Sound Switching (SSS) technology, you can change sounds without interruption, with the previous one fading out seamlessly.

The CP88 has three independent sound sections: Piano, Electric Piano and Sub. The Piano section includes renowned grand pianos such as the Yamaha CFX, Bösendorfer Imperial 290 and Yamaha S700, as well as Yamaha U1 and SU7 upright pianos.

The Electric Piano section offers sounds from Yamaha CP80 electroacoustic pianos, FM pianos, as well as 78 Rd, 75 Rd, 73 Rd, Wr and Clavi electric pianos. The Sub section includes a variety of sounds such as organs, harpsichords, keyboard percussion, pads, leads, basses and strings.

Dedicated VCM effects for each section, such as compression, drive, auto pan, phaser and pedal wah, allow for extensive customisation of sounds.

Master effects include analogue and digital delay modelling, reverb and 3-band EQ. The CP88 also features 20 x 8 Live Set slots for quick access to your favourite configurations.

With stereo analogue outputs on unbalanced and balanced XLR jacks, and a 2-in/2-out USB Audio interface, the CP88 is ready for live performance and studio recording.

RCA and LFE line inputs let you mix a second keyboard or connect a smartphone. Four pedal inputs and Soundmondo compatibility for sharing your settings add to the versatility of this piano.

The CP88 comes with a progressive FC3A sustain pedal and offers options such as the YMR-04 music stand and SC-CP88 carry case for even greater convenience.
