Yamaha - CPX600 Old Violin Sunburst
Yamaha's CPX600 Old Violin Sunburst is an electro-acoustic guitar in medium-jumbo format with a cutaway, combining a spruce top and nato body. The result is a sound balanced between deep lows and clear highs, ideal for versatile playing. Its System 65 electronics, coupled with an SRT piezo pickup, faithfully reproduce your playing in an amplified situation, with precise settings to sculpt your sound. With a 634 mm pitch and a comfortable neck, it offers excellent playability, even in complex positions.
Presentation
The spruce top, combined with nato for the back and sides, gives a beautifully clear midrange and an appreciable roundness in the bass. The 634 mm scale provides comfortable tension, ideal for expressive playing. The nato neck and rosewood fingerboard ensure a natural feel.
As for the electronics, the on-board SYSTEM65 system features a 3-band EQ, built-in tuner and Mid FQ control for adjusting your presence in the mix. The Old Violin Sunburst colour adds an original visual touch, without going overboard.
