The EMX5014C includes a mixer, power amplifier, graphic equalizer and digital effects in a compact and portable unit. No complicated wiring and configuration - just plug and play, period! The entire system is optimized, so it's easy to get a high quality sound anywhere.
Superior sound achieved by a design and careful selection of pieces

The selection of items is crucial to obtain the best possible sound and Yamaha saves no effort to select the best. The critical circuit preamps, for example, uses special resistances, as bullets, low noise, which are placed on a thin film of nichrome for accurate reproduction, without noise. Particular attention was paid to the grounding of the system and the system in general to ensure that no unwanted noise or interference degrades any sound quality.
Intuitive, Functional Controls and Connectivity

The mixer section offers a total of 14 inputs in a very versatile configuration: channels 1-6 are mono microphone or line inputs, channels 7/8 and 9/10 can function either as monaural microphone input / line, either as stereo line inputs, and channels 13/14 and 11/12 are stereo line inputs. Connectors are also provided for connection to external power amplifiers and effect processors. The stereo channels 11/12 and 13/14 include RCA pin jacks for direct connection of CD players and other music playback devices, to which the 3-band channel equalizers can be applied as required. Channels 1 through 6 offer a single channel equalizer 3-band means while scanning channels 7-14 offer a 3-band EQ without intermediate scan. Two 9-band graphic equalizers are also provided for optimum compatibility with speakers or room acoustics.
Integrated SPX Effects

Yamaha SPX effects are recognized worldwide as being among the best available, for both recording and live sound. The EMX5014C includes an integrated processor SPX effects, producing an Extraordinary effects with 32-bit processing. 16 effect programs with adjustable parameters give you a digital reverb, echo, delay, modulation and high-end distortion. You can even connect a switch to FC5 foot in option to enable / disable the effects.
Efficient power amplifiers

To make EMX5014C lightweight and portable, the amplifiers used must be extremely efficient while providing superior sound quality. In fact, the EMX amplifiers are remarkably effective, producing a power 500W + 500W (4 ohms) with a power consumption and a relatively low heat emanation. At the same time, they offer amazing audio quality with excellent transient response and low distortion.
A lightweight and convenient design

With EMX5014C, reduced weight does not mean reduced performance. The housing is made of a special lightweight yet rugged material, while a switching power supply delivers all the raw power that the system needs to output a solid 500W + 500W. EMX5014C and weighs only 10.5 kg - much less than previous models. Comfortable carrying handles are on the lower section of the mixer for improved handling and portability.

The forced air system maintains the same charge in difficult conditions

The air flow can be compromised when a mixer is mounted racks, and direct sunlight during outdoor applications can raise temperatures to dangerous levels. The EMX5014C has a forced air cooling system that has been designed carefully to ensure reliable operation and high performance even under difficult conditions.
Six Advanced Analog Compressors Included

A total of six advanced compressor circuits are provided on the mono channels EMX5014C, allowing you to achieve the ideal degree of compression with a single button. Setting up optimal compression for a source is usually a complicated process, but this unique compressor makes it easy to "musical" compression for enhanced vocal or guitar sound.
Useful Features

The system FCL (Feedback Channel Locating) facilitates locating and eliminating back like never before. FCL indicators provided on each input channel indicate which channel is held back so you can identify it visually and adjust levels or EQ accordingly. Another practical feature is an on / off switch that cuts the channels 1-8 so that, for example, after rehearsal or between sets you can cut inputs 1-6 musician without having to change fader settings while stereo inputs remain active for background music broadcast.
