Presentation
The Yamaha Genos 76 Stock B is a performance and studio instrument that combines sound-generation technology with powerful digital electronics. It can be used to create a wide variety of sounds, offering musical versatility for musicians, songwriters, sound engineers and sound designers.
The Genos keyboard features a touch-sensitive response with aftertouch and simulates the subtle nuances and playing characteristics of musical instruments. As you play, the Genos automatically selects the appropriate samples in real time, based on what you are playing and how you play it. The samples are layered and articulated, just as they would be naturally on an acoustic instrument.
The keyboard features a 16-track MIDI sequencer, a 32-bit digital-to-analogue converter (DAC), Vocal Harmony and Synth Vocoder effects, and a 9-inch touchscreen; it is also equipped with assignable buttons for quick access to sounds and functions. With 1,710 instrument voices, 510 accompaniment styles and 216 arpeggios, this keyboard has everything you need to inspire your creativity. Here are a few examples of natural sounds: C7 Grand Piano, Kino Strings, and the Revo!Drum kit sounds.
What’s more, whatever genre of music you wish to play, the Genos is ready to accompany you with an arrangement. A Multi Pad is available for playing a range of pre-recorded short rhythmic and melodic sequences and loops, so you can improvise. Finally, the Genos features an intuitive interface for music and sound creation and serves as a creative tool for recording and performance applications.
