The pair of Yamaha CXR10 MK3 speakers and the Yamaha CXS12 MK3 subwoofer make up the audio component of this system, with external amplification tailored to each component. The CXR10 MK3s feature a 10" driver and a 1" compression tweeter, with a frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz and a maximum SPL of 123 dB. Their 275 W RMS power handling and 8 Ω impedance are accompanied by a recommended amplifier power of 550 W RMS into 8 Ω. For its part, the CXS12 MK3 features a 12" driver, delivers 325 W RMS and can reach 125 dB SPL, with a recommended amplifier power of 1,300 W RMS at 8 Ω.

The CXR10 MK3 can be positioned to suit your setup thanks to its two 35 mm inserts, with positions at 0° and -7°, as well as its 55° floor-monitor angle. Their horizontal coverage of 90° and vertical coverage of 60° also allow their placement to be adapted to the listening area. The CXS12 MK3, meanwhile, features two handles and a mounting point for four castors, with 35 mm and M20 inserts for various installation options. The two NL4MP SpeakON connectors on both the speakers and the subwoofer make it easy to connect to your amplification system.

For transport, the four Yamaha SPW-1 castors have a diameter of 75 mm, a tread width of 27 mm and radial ball bearings. The two Yamaha SPCVR-DXR103 covers protect the CXR10 MK3 during transport and storage, whilst the SPCVR-DXS123 protects the CXS12 MK3. Made from nylon and mesh fabric, they minimise the equipment’s exposure to dust, dirt and moisture. However, these covers do not guarantee protection against severe weather conditions.
