Yamaha - Pack CXR12 MK3 (la paire) + Sub CXS15 MK3 + 4 Roulettes

The Yamaha CXR12 MK3 set is a passive 2.1 system designed for installations with external amplification. The two 12" speakers provide the main sound output, whilst the 15" subwoofer handles the lower end of the frequency spectrum. The system features simple SpeakON cabling and is suitable for both stage set-ups and fixed installations. This type of package delivers greater bass density than a system fitted with a 12" subwoofer.

The CXR12 MK3 speakers operate at 8 Ω with 275 W RMS and a peak power of 1100 W. The 12" driver is paired with a 1" compression driver, with a crossover frequency of 1.9 kHz. The frequency response ranges from 50 Hz to 20 kHz and the maximum sound pressure level reaches 124 dB. Yamaha recommends an amplifier rated at 550 W RMS at 8 Ω to get the best performance from these speakers.

The CXS15 MK3 subwoofer also operates at 8 Ω with 325 W RMS and 650 W peak power. Its 15" driver extends down to 40 Hz to provide greater depth in the bass. It is recommended to use an amplifier rated at 1300 W RMS at 8 Ω and achieves a maximum sound pressure level of 126 dB. Its plywood cabinet features handles, inserts and mounting points for installation.

The SpeakON NL4MP connectors allow the system to be easily integrated into an amplification chain. The supplied SPW-1 castors can be fitted to the cabinet to facilitate movement between gigs. The 15" size makes transport more cumbersome, which makes the castors particularly useful for mobile use. After registering on the Yamaha website within 6 months of purchase, the speakers’ warranty can be extended to up to 7 years.
