The Yamaha CXR15 MK3 pack comprises two 15" passive speakers and a pair of adjustable stands, forming a ready-to-install sound system. If you organise concerts, parties or events, you’ll save time with a set-up that’s already designed to be mounted on stands. The speakers feature a bass-reflex design and require an external amplifier. Their polypropylene cabinets are suitable for regular transport.

With an impedance of 8 Ω, each speaker can handle 300 W RMS and up to 1200 W peak power. Yamaha recommends a 600 W RMS amplifier into 8 Ω to power the system adequately. The 15" driver works in conjunction with a 1" compression driver, complemented by a crossover frequency set at 1.8 kHz. The system covers a frequency range from 50 Hz to 20 kHz and delivers up to 126 dB of sound pressure level.

The parallel-mounted SpeakON NL4MP connectors simplify cabling to your amplifier rack. The 90° horizontal and 60° vertical dispersion angles help to effectively cover the listening area. Should your setup change, the M10 and M8 suspension points, along with the Ø35 mm mounting plates with 0° and -7° positions, offer a range of installation options. For monitor use, the 52° tilt also allows them to be placed directly on the floor.

The BoomTone DJ SV-200 II stands are made of steel and their leg spacing is adjustable to ensure stability on any surface. Their height ranges from 1000 to 1600 mm, and a safety pin locks each setting in place. A carry bag is included for transporting the two stands between gigs. Once the speakers have been registered on the Yamaha website within six months of purchase, the warranty can be extended to up to seven years.
